Sir/mam. i have a windows 8 single language oem iso file, i bought from snapdeal (online store, india). i need windows 8.1 or later 8.1 updates, every time i need to upgrade to windows 8.1 after windows 8's installation.. Download the media creation tool & subsequently the appropriate edition of windows 8.1 iso according to the windows 8 edition installed in your laptop. for eg. windows 8.1 64bit core single language (sl) edition.. My laptops windows 8 license is stored in bios firmware so i need to reinstall windows 8 with an oem version of an iso. i don't think a retail version of windows 8 will work to have the license auto populate after windows is installed..
